About

Davida Wulff-Vanderpuije is a writer, speaker and audio creative who thrives at the intersection of tourism, storytelling and destination marketing. She has experience in the leisure, travel and tourism space, including delivering traditional and digital marketing activities for destinations, cruise lines, luxury resorts and escorted tour operators. 

Wonders of Wanders (WoW) is her creative travel, food, and culture platform that uses the power of storytelling to captivate audiences, inspire wanderlust, and prompt action – all with a generous helping of heart and humour. The travel guides, podcast, food tales and cultural happenings unpack a bag of laughs, unique lessons and memorable moments with people, places and palates.

Davida is a co-founder of the Black Travel Alliance, a non-profit organisation founded in June 2020 to support Black travel content creators around the world and increase their opportunities in the travel industry, including areas like employment, conferences and media campaigns. 

Davida served as a Board Member and Communications Committee co-chair of the Black Travel Alliance until June 2022, during which time the organisation released the Black Traveler Study in collaboration with MMGY Global, raised over $100,000 to fund grants for Black travel content creators and organisations, and launched the History of Black Travel website in partnership with Tourism RESET, among other achievements.

Her honours include being recognised among Europe’s Travel Industry Leaders for Inspiration, Changemakers in Tourism & Social Impact, UK Travel Thought Leaders and Content Creators to Follow and delivering a webinar on How to Create an Engaged Community of Tourism Ambassadors to 200+ destination management organisations.
